Benoit “Ben” Marc Letendre

Ben is the founding member of the Letendre Group. After almost ten years practicing law with one of the oldest firms in Wisconsin, Ben decided to start his own practice in November, 2019. The Letendre Group focuses on providing timely, viable and targeted legal solutions to corporate and municipal clients throughout Wisconsin.

Prior to law school, Ben served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps where he supported combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan as a helicopter pilot and forward air controller. He currently serves as a Judge Advocate in the Army Reserve.

Ben resides in Baraboo, Wisconsin with his wife Norah (née Grady, a Baraboo native) and their three children. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends such as hiking, hunting and downhill skiing.

Heather Sweeney


Heather is a paralegal with the Letendre Group. Heather has worked with Ben for 7 years, most recently at an established firm in the area. She previously worked at a large firm in Madison where she assisted attorneys in the areas of litigation and municipal law. She holds a degree in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University, as well as a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.Ed. in Instructional Design from Western Governors University.

Heather lives in the Baraboo area. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family usually playing cards, board games and enjoying outdoor activities.

Jacqueline Vertein

Jacqueline is new to the legal field. She previously worked in customer service and human resources. She is currently working towards her bachelors in paralegal studies.

Jacqueline lives in the Baraboo area. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, fishing and camping.

In 2020, Letendre Group entered into a strategic of counsel relationship with West & Dunn, enabling it to provide a broader array of services and support to its clients.
